From a small attic near Knoxville, Tennessee, Tristan Swank has been writing in a way that's described as "hauntingly personal and relatable," with a passion and energy that's almost impossible to ignore.
He started releasing music under the name Brookwood at 17, a personal moniker he made after the street he grew up on, Brookwood Lane.

Growing up in a place as diverse as Knoxville, he uses the sounds and influences he grew up around to make something that's as familiar and personal to the listener as it is to him. Ranging from college kids to the seasoned, his raw passion for what he sings and writes about draws in audiences.

Described as if Noah Kahan, Role Model, and Tyler Childers' songwriting had a lovechild with Sombr, Royel Otis, and Wunderhorse's musicality, Brookwood plans to hit the road this summer following his multi-release project he started writing last summer.
