Brookwood is named after the street Tristan Swank, a native of east Tennessee, grew up on. Since he was a little kid, he's always dreamed about making music. Winning a talent show in the 7th grade, he realized this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. After his dad found a song he made on a hard drive when he was 17, almost 3 years later, Brookwood has been making music that encapsulates what it is to grow into yourself and deal with change. From a small attic in his parents' house, he creates to help show what music has done for him, using familiar and nostalgic tones in new and unique ways to create a completely Brookwood sound and message.
